Trusting Him Anew Psalm 112.7

When I hear alarming or bad news I tend to be afraid, but the LORD prepared me for some employee’s intense reactions through these verses:

“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering [#186- not leaning, figuratively firm]; for he is faithful [trustworthy] that promised.”  Hebrews 10:23

Stand for the same cause and thinking that our Trustworthy Father has committed Himself to fulfill.

“Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man.  He will have no fear of bad news;  [#8052 something heard, that is, an announcement] his heart is steadfast, [#3559:  to be erect, that is stand perpendicular]  trusting in the Lord.”  Psalm 112:4,7

Trusting #982:  to hie (or go quickly) for refuge, to trust, be confident or sure

Our hearts stand tall and upright and strong, going quickly and with confidence to the God who keeps His promises.

“His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.”  Psalm 112:8

Established:  #5564 reflexively to lean upon or take hold of;

When we take hold of Who He Is in our hearts we are empowered to see every obstacle and challenge with confidence.

“Instead of seeking perfection in this fallen world, pour your energy into seeking Me;

the Perfect One…

I am much less interested in right circumstances than in right responses to whatever comes your way.”  Sarah Young
